STAC Event 12/25/00: Rocket Launch

It was Christmas day and too cold for a real launch but I wanted to do something. Glen and I decided against a big launch but I sat down with a paper towel tube and some cardboard & file cards and made a pretty good rocket. Pat came over for dinner and we launched it. Excellent flight but went it was lost in the woods.

Jeff Hove Scratch built: "Mutiny on the Bounty"
(Built from a paper towel tube and TP tube, with file card stock for nose cone, motor tube, and coupler. USPS Priority Mail box for cardboard for centering rings and fins. Nylon string shock cord, 6' x 2" nylon streamer. Adhesive label rolled backwards for launch lug. Estes B4-2 6' x 2" nylon streamer ~250', nice deployment but landed in woods. Didn't find it.
