Ray, John, TJ, Gary and new member Josh met at my house.
We watched the Junkyard Wars episode about rugby ball tossing machines: one air cannon, the other a catapult.

Then I demonstrated techniques for scratch-building rockets from household items such as paper towel tubes,  cardboard USPS Priority Mail boxes, and index cards.

We discussed other design styles such as tubular fins and ring fins.
