Flyable:

• BSD Thor:  My first High Power rocket.  85" tall by 4" diameter w/54mm motor mount.  Used for my NAR High Power Level 1 & Level 2 certifications.  Rocketman R7 chute w/nomex deployment bag.  54mm->38mm motor adapter with retention clips.  Modified rocket for rail buttons, and future use as an upper stage (3 brass tubes for staging guide rods, conduit for ignitor leads and separation charge)
• Aerotech 89011 Initiator: This was my first mid-power and BAR return to rocketry. Great kit, flies nicely.  Added removable 12" payload extension.
• Scratch TriSquito: A triple MicroMaxx cluster in a slightly oversized Mosquito clone, with streamer recovery
• Clone Mosquito: hand carved nc, hand rolled launch lug, printed bug decals on laser printer, finished very nicely.  Often fly w/MicroMaxx adapter.
• Scratch Bic ARCAS: MicroMaxx powered Bic pen with parachute recovery
• Quest MicroMaxx Vector1, Raw Fusion, Saturn V, Space Shuttle, SR-71, Tomahawk
• Mark 2 Mod 0 Stomp Rocket: built at MASA meeting using plans & materials (from AxMan Salvage) provided by Alan Estenson.
• NCR SA-14 Archer: my first 4" diameter rocket, maximum size & weight for mid-power.  Struggles up on a G64 or G80 but flies great on H128 & H180.  This was salvaged from the garbage at the 5/12/01 Tripoli launch after it was thrown away after a lawn dart.  I replaced the payload section body tube & coupler and added a bulkhead.
• Estes Big Daddy:  Given to me by a flyer at the 5/18/01 MASA launch after two lawn darts.  I just cut back the body tube 1/2", replaced the shock cord, and added some nose weight.  Flew great on D12-5.  A bit squirrely on a few D12-3 launches.  Might need more weight.
• Centuri KB-3 Taurus: one of the coolest rockets ever.  Built in mid 1970's.
• Centuri KD-3 Spartan: Built in mid 1970's
• Centuri KC-12 StarFire(Dad built): Goes to 2000' on a C6-5.  Hard to see. Built in mid 1970's
• Estes K-33 Trident(Dad built): The original version with 3 side tubes.  Very nice flyer with unique ejection gas path. Built in mid 1970's
• Estes 1239 Saturn V (1:144 scale): Built in mid 1970's
• Estes K-14 Drifter(Dad built): Built in mid 1970's
• Estes 0819 Little John: finished very nicely with bt spiral filled, fins seal coated 4 times, multiple layers of primer & color coat. Built in mid 1970's but painted in 2000.
• Estes Screamer(Orange, friend built) Built in mid 1970's
• Estes Astrocam RTF: Bought for $5 from someone who only wanted the launcher from the kit.
• Estes TK-45 Beta two stage(#2, orange & black, friend built in mid 1970's):  Upper Stage CATO'd at 01/01/01 launch but rebuilt.
• Estes K-38 Avenger "Wind Test Dummy" two stage:  Built in mid 1970's. Reduced upper section of upper stage is missing, replaced with simple plastic nose cone.  Shortened due to lawn-dart 11/18/2000, then fusalage burn-through after CATO at 01/01/01 launch.
• Scratch "Completely Cardboard #2": Re-creation of the Free Found-Parts rocket that was lost on 11/17/2001.  Used to demonstrate found-parts rocket design at the 2/2/2002 MASA meeting.

• Estes TK-1 Mosquito: Built in early1970's. My first rocket (Dad built our first Alpha III's)!  Fins replaced several times and it is in rough shape.
• Estes 0652 Citation Patriot: Built in mid 1970's. Flyable but retired due to decal peeling.  Might clear coat it and return to service.
• Centuri KM-1 Two-Bitz (balsa NC): Built in mid 1970's. Flyable but retired due to iminent burn through of BT

• Centuri KB-7 Arrow 300 (Uncle Claire built in mid 1970's): Very sleek minimum diameter 3 stager.  First flight at the 6/23/01 MASA launch.  Needs fin re-glued and fin cannister reattached to upperstage body.
• Centuri KC-8 Orion: Awesome on D13-5W 18mm RMS reloads!: 01/27/01 lost one pod and suffered zippered body tube and broken shock cord attachment during recovery from tree.  Got pod back that spring and it has flown again!  Then zipper & minor core-sample damage at 8/25/01 flight.
• Estes 1220 Mars Snooper(Dad built in mid 1970s):  Cracked fin, cracks in mouth of main body tube
• Estes K-11 Wac Corporal: Built in mid 1970's.  Needs  new shock cord & chute
• Estes K-5 Apogee II (blue/red,Dad built in mid 1970's.): new shock cord & chute
• Estes 0820 EAC Viper(#2): Built in mid 1970's. new shock cord & chute, re-glue one fin
• Estes 0818 Rogue(friend built in early 70's): shock cord, chute
• Scientific Products Company #105 Alpha-1 Ballistic Missile: Baking Soda & Vinegar rocket: need launch pad

• Scratch Nike Asp: given to me after lawn dart at TRA 09/08/01 launch.  Forward section crushed.  Nosecone, aft section, forward fins all usable.
• Estes K-50 Interceptor: Built in mid 1970's.  lawn-darted 11/18/00, but plastic parts still ok (amazing the nc survived).  May rebuild from scratch and just reuse the plastic parts.
• Estes 1237 Scrambler (3 cluster - Dad built in mid 70's): On first flight, upper BT burned after single-engine ignited other two from behind.
• Estes X-Wing: blew motor mount tube out during strong ejection with tightly packed chute
• Centuri KM-6 Mini-Dactyl. Built in mid 1970's.: booster bt unspiraled when forced tight fitting motor.  One glider fusalage broken during shred on an A10-3T motor.
• Estes TK-44 Birdie: Built in early 70's.  Need to build new motor mount

• Scratch "Completely Cardboard": 11/17/2001 disappeared into residential area north of Sunrise Middle School in White Bear Lake.  Rocket built from 2.5" dia x 30" wrapping paper tube, corrogated cardboard fins mounted through the wall to 24mm motor mount and notched over the centring rings.  Nosecone is hand rolled from thin cardboard, motormount tube and launch lugs hand rolled from 3"x5" index cards, centering rings from 2 layers of cardboard with 90degree grain offset.  Very light but strong, flies nicely.
• Estes K-5 Apogee II (black/orange): 03/03/2001 Upper Stage hanging in tree at White Bear Lake site.  Booster lost two fins.
• Scratch Mutiny on the Bounty II: 01/01/2001 over neighbor's trees to the South

• Estes 1246 Shrike Upper stage: Drifted into residential area, never found.  Still have booster.
• Estes K-56 AlphaIII (3 lost): two in corn fields, one lawn-darted on asphalt road in front of our house.
• Estes K-17 Aerobee: I don't remember what happened to main body, but I still have the nose-cone/upper section.
• Estes K-18 X-ray: don't remember how destroyed, but still have payload section/nose cone.  I think this was launched at night with a simple AA battery flashlight.  Landed in Grandpa Hove's plowed field with deep mud.  Recovered but wet/damaged.
